Aquarium water
« on: June 18, 2005, 09:22:30 »
Just to say that for those fish owners out there when you do your weekly - 10 day water change do not tip the water away but pour it on the flowers they love all the fish poo and richness of the water. Our plants have really thrived and most people in the fish club I belong to have been doing it for years. Would say be careful with marine or brackish tanks though due to the salineity of the water (saltiness). :)

We've got marine and tip it on the grass, it doesn't seem to harm that, won't do it on the plants because of what you said, the grass seems to thrive though.

I'd never thought of that but obvious now you've stated the fact!   Thanks Portway.
