toad poles
« on: June 16, 2005, 14:35:39 »
My toad tadpoles must be hungry little blighters! Every evening the surface of the water is black for the number of wriggling bodies.

Should I be feeding them more? They are getting a lidful of fish food twice a week. When do they become carnivorous?

They still haven't got legs - is that right?

(can you tell I'm a first time mother?!)

I tried to clear the excess duck weed from the pond yesterday (had left it due to the tadpoles). Pulled out loads then spotted one tadpole still in it and got so worried I put the whole lot back in the pond. Will they be ok with the surface virtually covered?
gone to pot :D
