Courgettes - no.  And I don't know about outdoor cu varieties. I didn't mention that mine are all inside this year.

I don't. I just let courgettes grow whichever way they want to and get good crops.

okay thanks for that - just the kind of plant I like.  Lots of food and little effort over and above the normal  ;)
Neil (The Young Ones) once said "You plant the seed, the seed grows, you harvest the seed....You plant the seed....."   if only it was that simple!!!

i put 4 melon cucs in my vinehouse, all got eaten by slugs or something, replaced them with two mini cucs, got eaten, put three burpless tasty green outside, got one left, pants pants pants. wanted the minis for pickling gherkins cos theyre my favourite thing in the world, i hate slugs, i have now got my OH to cut rings of copper to put round my precious pants, but if there is any leaf available, theyve had it!!!!
