- seem to recall folk complaining that the snow hadn't reached them?

The local village is now flooded, we have towels in tha attic and my wife was knocked over by the wind tonight.  You have problems?? Get stuck in! = Tim

Winds are very scarey here too - some very suspect trees around :o

Hope your wife is ok Tim and the attic! What's up - have you got a leaking roof or a burst pipe ???

- thanks for asking -  she was flattened by our 12' yard gate . Walking wounded!! Thank God she didn't fall on her new knee.

The leak? - after £650 rebuild of a small attic window to stop the leak - am I furious?? = Tim

The weather just wont give us a break at the moment will it?

First frost and snow then wind and rain. Even when its nt doing either of those its bl**dy damp and miserable out. Got loads to do in the garden, but not getting thr chance to do them!   >:(

Tim - sorry to hear about your wife. How is she now?

The wind was awful. Yesterday I nearly had my legs blown from underneath me while walking along. I don't care what it's like tomorrow - I'm going to garden whatever the weather. I just can't wait any longer!

Patience, patience - if it's the soil we're talking about. Or is it mud?

Another thought - No 2 daughter, who is 5'9", and not exactly 'delicate', got airborne ON her bicycle ......... ?  Wife progresses. Thanks. = Tim
