Give me the moonlight

Well having heard they were self fertile I did one set very early and the results were poor.  I was very disappointed by the rest during the hot weather the flowers fell off with all the other varieties, St George managed a few odd beans.

But then come August the moon came out.  The flowers covered the plants, more and more and more, and now the beans are simply dripping off.  I have bucket loads of them.

This is rather disappointingly not the hot weather runner bean but as a slightly late cool weather bean it had been for me magnificent.
