Hi all!! ;D
Unfortunately not the blonde female ones!! :P
Does anyone know what swede seedlings look like!!
Planted a couple of rows and got something coming up, but not sure if its weeds!!
Nobbs xx :o
vaguely like small cabbage plants. same family.
i transplanted some about 10cm high from a friendly neighbour's seedbed this weekend :)
My first attempt was completely wiped out within days by flea-beetle - before decamping over to the radishes! But this time round, blasted the row with a precautionary whif of derris - seems to have sorted it. ;)
That makes 2 of us Sam! :-\

Derris is the strongest and longest lasting of the insect sprays that we offer killing caterpillars aphids thrips and sawfly. The active ingredient is rotenone which is taken from a number of tropical plants. Can be used on crops right up to one day before harvest.
Loathe using it, but I am sick to death of loosing crop after crop after crop! :-\
Hmmmmmmmmmmm!!
But are they swedes or weeeds?????
