Title: Your favourite homegrown tomatoes????
Post by: gunnerbee on May 28, 2005, 00:54:15
mine is the marmande.  To go with a thick slice of fresh white/wholemeal bread, thick jersey butter, nice strong cheese, homemade chutney, and a freshly picked marmande sliced on top, nice and warm from the veggie patch, OOOOOHHHHHHH cant wait!!!

Too many to mention, but a good chance to Hi-Jack a thread-sorry :-[. If anyone out there has had `Black Russian` seeds from me I am now calling in the favour. My plant died and I forgot to keep a spare-I have been keeping the seeds for 10 years now and am not sure I have some seeds from last year left.

I love cherry toms. I grew some a couple of years ago and they were so successful that I couldn't give them away fast enough. I had pounds and pounds of them :o

They may have been 'Tumbler' but I can't remember :-\ They were delicious though - very sweet :P
