Post by: Dirkdigger on May 27, 2005, 19:52:19
Sorry for all the photo's but I'm really pleased with all our handywork. I say ours my wife has helped a little bit..... No, its our first attempt at all this allotment stuff.
We took the plot on in February this year, hopefully more photo's  to come later.

very impressive
and such a large plot, too
i am quite glad ours is kinda small - it must be quite daunting to have such a big plot to start with? kudos :)

Thanks for the positive responses. Actually Svea there was talk of another 1/2 a plot coming up for grabs. Decided against going for it, first year thought don't want to run before I can walk. Maybe in the future. The actual plot is about 75ft by 25ft.
I must say I'm addicted to our little bit of heaven. Cant wait to come home from work and just spend my spare time over there.
Hope to post more photos as things develop.
DD ;)

Thanks for all the kind comments. Will be over there tomorrow weeding and strimming the edges of the path. Great crowd of lottmenteers over there as well, only problem tend to chat more than work. ( And that's not even the wife.)
Will try and keep an update as the season progresses.

Very impressive, Dirkdigger. Your stuff is much further on than mine - in Fife. Are you in balmy southern climes? Keep up the good work!
