Aw my gawd! One of them beasties in your hair :o :o Were you brave? I wouldn't have been ;D
Roy I was digging (yes me, first time on the plot since bad back) and found lots of grubs in the soil. Hope it wasn't those things you refer to. They were quite big - about an inch and cream colour. Any ideas?
sounds just like cockchafer larvae...
squish them. They devastate potatoes.
....and all other roots. They're found usually on land that's being newly cultivated. Put them in your sarnie or squash 'em.
Ken, that's deeeesgustin' (can't find puking smilie)
You're right, sorry, squashing them can be a little messy.
:o My grandson put this beetle in with his sisters prize sunflower :o I told his Mum to take it out quick and put it in a sarnie or Squish it? or was that squash it? ;D
