Title: Apple Leaves Turning Brown
Post by: MarthaMad on May 23, 2005, 12:47:47
I bought a lovely little bramley apple tree....  But unfortunatly did not have it's new home for it ready... So left it on my sheltered balcony for a few weeks...

When i planted it out I noticed some aphids on the back sid eof one of the leaves... So I gave it a spray of organic bug killer... (Fatty Acid based) Siad it was safe for fruit...

Now the leaves are starting to change from a lovely green to a mucky green-brown.

Any thoughts?

Oh dear did you let it dry out?
Are the new leaves ok?
They are hardy just keep an eye on her and water her to get her established.
my old tree nothing realy happens to it I give it a feed of rose fert in Feb and again in June unless I throw some compost out of the bin on her. She needs cutting back but thats an autum job.

Shouldn't be the spray, I used the Bio Blue one on my trees last year without a problem.
