Title: Feeding tomatoes
Post by: Nigella on May 23, 2005, 11:31:05
I know tomatoes are hungry -  ;D

Can I feed them with my organic Rooster chicken manure pellets - or do I need to use a special tomato feed?

If so how often should I apply the pellets ?

Oh no please dont.
I used the natural stuff years ago and had tomato plants the size of trees and hardly any fruit. Family could not believe the size.
If you want to go organic use comphrey leaves rooted down to liq and diluite or buy the tom food.
If you have a pool and wash the filters diluite that for them once a week but water daily.
