Title: Sparrow Hawk
Post by: Mothy on May 23, 2005, 10:13:51
Don't know how well this will turn out due to digi zoom on a budget camera!

He swooped in and sat on the fence for at least 10 minutes. We had a kestrel perch on th conifers a bout 2 years ago, but he was gone in a flash!!

Can't see your hawk Mothy.  :(  Maybe the pic is just too big and I'm missing it?

Eileen, he's basically in the centre of the pic, just to the left of the fence post and on top of the fence!  :)

A couple of years ago I was walking round my site when a little male (about the size of a mistle thrush) shot about six inches over my head and perched up on a fence. Unfortunatley I didn't have a camera on me!
