Title: Squash leftovers
Post by: Mrs Ava on May 22, 2005, 22:19:56
I still have these in store in the conservatory.  They are still firm and smooth.  Had one last week and it was just fine, made lovely soup,  however, no idea if they will last much longer or if they are rotting away inside.  :-\  Must use them up!

Amazing that they have kept so long , i did wonder how long they would last in store.
I grew pumpkins last year and hoped to store some, but youngest son got addicted to pumpkin soup and kept on insisting that it was so nice to come home to a panful, after a long day at school....so how could i resist?  ;D

Needless to say the pumpkins only lasted a month or so. :)

They are spaghetti squashes Ruud.  I keep meaning to cut one open to see what it is like inside.  I have some bolognaise sauce in the fridge actually.....hmmm...dinner tomorrow maybe!
