I harvested my first ever crop yesterday: 2 radishes. And here they are in all their glory. I'm so proud! :) There are more, but I'll give them another week or two.
Whoopee! But don't let them get woody. And keep chasing the flea beetle away - they really mess things up!
;D Yippee ;D Well done!!! ;D ;D Keep up the good work. ;D We all have to start somewhere. ;D :D
Well done Spout, who knows what is next ;D
I have harvested my first strawberry which was shared between my
two children - grown in my greenhouse in half drainpipes suspended
along the length.
Shall definitely be doing this again, as it produces an early crop of
strawbs which can grow and fruit before the tomatoes take over.

congratulations it just the best feeling in the world to grow and then eat your own.
How many of you to share them? keep going it gets even better.
Only the two of us so we had one each. But it was just like eating one of your children (only chunchier).
Oh one each luxury.hee hee.
just remember that feeling when other things dont do so well thats gardening swings and roundabouts.
Wait untill a slug munches and you go looking for it like a loony then you know your hooked ha ha
Delicious I am sure! Congratulations. You are savouring that spicy freshness now....you wait...come August you will be looking for 101 things to do with radish! ;D Those first pickings are the best, and just think of all the other first veggie pickings you have to come! ;D ;D
Well done :)
I haven't harvested any thing yet :(  But on the plus side, neither have the slugs ;D
