Not a duck, taken at Longleat last year.
Thanks for putting the photo of the Meerkat on dd. They are one of my favourites, have saved the photo - it is so good. :)
Another for your collection. Only managed 2 shots while waiting for boat trip. Funny creatures.
A beautiful photo of the mallard Dirk.
Those Meerkats do look funny !! ;D
Thanks dd - love 'em :) We live near to Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne and when we took our grandson there some years ago we saw the meerkats. They had to build a tall hill in their enclosure so that they could use it as a lookout.
Hello Gardengirl et al !
Wonderful photos !!!
Gardengirl, we live near Ware, just down the A10. Was in Broxbourne not long ago doing some shopping ;D :D
Hi Marianne - we live about 7 miles from the park actually - between St. Albans and Potters Bar. We have some friends who own a kitchen shop up on a small shopping parade in Ware.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Found some other creatures fom our day out. Not great photos, but hope you enjoy.
Dont you just want to kiss all of those little fellas on the nose ;D
Aww... I need a day at Chester Zoo after all that.
We had a cat who used to stand just like a meerkat and we used to say she was soooo clever, not just a 'mere cat' Gettit? Aww p'raps you had to be there! ::) ;D
really good pictures DD :)
great shots dd :)
I am trying to rake my brains as to the whereabouts of this kitchen shop ?? Will have to have a good look and will report back ! :D ;)
Actually Marianne, my husband tells me that our friends may have stopped selling kitchens now. Apparently the shop itself is a wallpaper/paint shop at the front with a DIY part at the back. They used to sell kitchens but may not now. The shop is actually just through the town to a large roundabout then turn right up a steep hill and the shop is on the left in a small parade of shops. Hope this helps you to identify the position. Sorry to have misled you - hope this saves your sanity in trying to locate the shop ;) :)
I know where you mean now !!! It's on the hill.
I used to go and buy fish and chips from the chippy next door many years ago! The shop was on a corner and I purchased quite a bit from there.
Have not been there for years ! I will have to check it out !
That has brought back so many memories ! :D ;D
