Title: Parsnip Seedlings!!
Post by: Nobbyman on May 19, 2005, 16:36:15
Hi all!!

Don't laugh - I know this is a stupid question!! - But I have planted parsnips with radish in between - I can see some plants coming up where the parsnip seeds were sown - but are they weeds or parsnips. Anyone got any piccies of parsnip seedlings!!

Nobbs

I found this.

The seed leaves appear first. These are the smoothed edge leaves in the picture. Only two of these.

Next a third leaf appears, this has the jagged edge you can see in the picture. It can take a week or 3 between seed leaves and the first true leaf.
