Just a few photo's I've been changing digitally. Don't ask me how I did it, just keep playing around with different settings and wot not.
A couple more.
First one was taken this morning at the allotment.
Another one saved by me I'm afraid! Wonderful!! ;D
Think I've hit on a nice transformation process. Any thoughts ?
Last couple for tonight. Hope you dont mind Greenwizard, borrowed your tulip comp photo.
Oh the colours! And the iris!! You are going to fill up my 'puter at this rate!!
Managed to get the process down to 4 changes on the software. Now I think I've cracked it I think I ought to record a action. Bit like macro's in excel software, you record all the changes you do to a photo. It saves the instructions, then you just have to click on one button to start the action. Computer does the rest.
Very clever and time saving.
Glad you like the photo's.
Found a few more.
Last ones, bed time.
i'm honoured dd~ I LOVE IT :) :) :)
Like the irises and GWs tulip especially. They look like somewhere between watercolour paintings and silk painting. ;D
They are beautiful dd, some of them remind me of stained glass. I love the colours.
You should market them.. They would look great on greeting cards. Particularly like the green calendular (if that's what it is).
What programme are you using? Is it paint shop pro?
Love the tulips. :) 8)
Terri
DD ! Absolutely stunning, to say the least !! I have copied and pasted two of them... ::) :D
I thought the same as tullipa, they look like stained glass.
They are all fab but I especially like the tulip. ;D
love the tulip , looks great keep them coming DD
I love these. I think they would look great as prints. I'm particularly taken with Greenwizard's tulips. Brilliant! It shows that the pic has to be a good one in first place to be made something as artful as these doesn't it ?
Impressive or what, DD!!
I think that's quite right Heldi. No amount of messing about will make a bad photo good. You might make it appeal to a few more people.
To be honest the process is quite easy. The program is Photoshop CS. But don't let that bother you. The same can be done on Paint shop pro (I think).
All I do is copy my original photo as a new layer (this makes a copy of my original photo and lies it on top my original) On the new layer invert it to produce a negative image, then add a filter called Paint Daubs (still with me ?)this will turn it into a painting. Then still on my new layer, change the blending mode to lighten. Doing this blends the original picture with my new layer. After this flatten the image to make it only one layer again. Give it a little adjustment in levels and hue and saturation, then save it.
Not really hard give it a go. I just like to play around tweaking this and blending that. See what I come up with.
I think they are beautiful DD although I do view them more as art than photography when they've been tweaked. I just wish I understood what you've been doing so I could give it a go!
i've just printed my pic onto photo paper & it looks stunning. ;D
now all i have to do is find a suitable mount & frame.
i'm one happy bunny ;D
thanks dd :-*
Glad you like it that much Gw.
I know it sounds complicated but when you see it done, really easy. As I said before I'm only scratching the surface of the program myself, lots of things I don't understand. I just twiddle along messing about with different controls until I find something I like, problem is I cant remember how I got there half the time.
But good fun.
Newer version of irises. Same photo slightly different method.
Those irises look weird! Like a carniverous plant. I absolutely LOVE the first sunflower pic. I love it as a normal photo,so lovely, but this version ...wow!
WOW !! Just amazing DD !! LOVE them all  ;D
found one of my daff photos. Now its a naff!!!!
A closer view of the iris. Changed again slightly. Same photo different crop.
adore your latest offering :) the colours are very intense
I like teses a lot. Isn't technology wonderful (when it works!).
