Title: To cut ot not to cut........
Post by: undercarriage plan on May 14, 2005, 18:32:54
Dear all, advice needed yet again, (sorry  ::)).  My onions which were planted in the autumn, are beginning to produce flowers.  Should I remove the flowers or not?  Do onions bolt? If so are they hard to catch....?  ;D Seriously, onions look fine and healthy, but don't want to ruin them by letting them flower , or not as the case may be.  Thanks Lottie

No chives surely MB.  I loves them sprinkled over my salad.  But then I guess growth slows and they don't bulk up...maybe 50/50
