Hi mutty

If you were to sow tomato seed now. the plants wouldn't be ready for planting either outside or in a cold greenhouse before the end of June, that really is a little late.
Meantime, I'm sure lots of gardeners would fix you up with a few plants. Alternatively, plenty should be available at around 50p each.

Good luck.

Toms take "16 weeks sowing to harvest". So - you choose?

A lot depends on the weather, if we have nice weather late on in the year i reckon you'll be ok

and beg, borrow, steal or buy some plants as well. That way you won't have to wait until early September by Tim's reconning

If you see any planmts with side shoots, buy those and use the side shoots as cuttings
