Post by: Diana on May 12, 2005, 20:17:06
OK, so what's your favourite recipe for spinach and / or chard?

Love the stuff + I'm sat here eating it in a risoto (with sweet potato, onion, garlic, ginger + nutmeg), but in my repetoir for it's uses (eaier the better) I have risoto, salads, steamed.

What else?

Curried, chard aloo! Or as tonight with lentils and other stuff, or just sauteed in olive oil with onions, garlic and nutmeg. (touch of cream if you are feeling fancy!) As a quiche, ohhhhhhhh  the list is endless, we love the stuff too! ;D

Spinach and mozerella quiche with tomatoes (pastry case, then layer of tomato sauce (passata - not ketchup!) then spin and moz and egg custard. yum. (that's dinner tonight too!)

I'm hoping i'll be able to make it with chard this year - if it grows!
