My new bush (well twig) is fruiting -I'm wondering whether to take them off as it is it's first year?

My one and only bush is loaded as are all the others on the allotment site it seems ;D Lots and lots of gooseberry pie etc to look forward to ;D

Coming along nicely thanks  ;D  I normally don't even protect them as there is plenty for me to share with the birds.

Mine too, its on its second summer but only had a single berry last year, so its a baby bush.

What do people think? to eat or not to eat, unless the pigeons already did.
