Title: powergen?
Post by: aquilegia on May 10, 2005, 15:40:45
Do you use powergen? Good and bad experiences please!

I'm still reeling in shock from my last gas bill and thinking of changing supplier. Powergen are apparently cheaper than British Gas.

We are with powergen, but I don't know if they are still the cheapest.  We keep meaning to look for a cheaper supplier, but I have a horrible feeling they get the money one way or another.

No bad experiences at all, in fact, they have been very straight forward and helpful.

;D I swap regularly ;D sometimes only after a few months, if I see a cheaper one I go for it. I'm with Powergen at the mo and last time I checked the net London Energy was the cheapest, so I'll be going there soon, if they are still the cheapest. 8)

My two daughters keep asking why my bill is so low and I keep telling them and telling them but do they listen? Do they ekkerslike ::) ;D

Have you tried uswitch ? They give you a compression of prices for suppliers in your area.

And if you click here,

USwitch.com (http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-1673952-10279726)

and then switch suppliers via them (free for you), the site gets a fiver !

I use powergen, dualfuel online tariff, never had a problem.

Cheers

Dan

Thanks all

Yes - it was uswitch that pointed me to powergen. I'm still pontificating, but will do it today.

(our winter gas bill went up by 50% this year :o :o :o - I'm sure we weren't using that much extra!)

we are with powergen online dual fuel discount thingy - no worries so far :)
in fact, to their praise - they were the first utility supplier who actually got my married name right. it's only been two years, and i have given up on most of the other suppliers - how many calls does it take?  ::)
(i have one of them fancy double barrelled names that is really difficult - not!)
