Some photos taken whilst walking around a very cold and blustery Stourhead gardens. Will try and add more as I review them.
Great pictures, hope you enjoyed your day out.
:D
great pictures the one of the tree is almost magical
Yes we had a great day out. Wind was cold, but grounds still very busy. Will definitely visit again probably in Autumn for more colour on the trees.
Some lovely shots, i particularly love the one of the tree and the one of the overhanging branches~beautiful :)
Last 2 for today. If you've never been, well worth a day out strolling around the grounds.
What a beautiful place dd and great photography :) I love the tree - spooky :o
:) Gorgeous colours :)
Absolutely stunning pictures D D. thank you for showing us.
That tree looks as though somebody is climbing on it or is it me??.
So enjoyed looking at these phtos, thankyou. Are you sure the "brief sunshine" isn't a painting on canvas. Really really stunning. Lorna.
DD your pictures just get better and better thanks
:o Oh that first one is loooovely. It looks like some mythical figure.
Honeybee and I have a friend who paints. Im sure she'd love to see these.
More to follow I'm afraid. Thank you for the kind comments, this was my second visit to the gardens. Weather still wasn't great but thanks to digital cameras, able to bring out the colours a little better.

DD
Absolutely beautiful dd :) I have saved the one before last as a desktop photo - I hope you don't mind :)
Not at all, feel free. That's what I put them up for public display for. If anyone likes them, that's a bonus. ;D ;D ;D
An absolute pleasure to enjoy ! Gorgeous and once again, very professional DD! :D
Thanks for those very kind words Marianne . I wish I could be so lucky with my gardening, seem to kill anything I touch.
I've just been dabbling with a couple more photo's, trying to portray dreamy sort of oil painting ? any good or keep taking the tablets.
dreamy~captured!!
:) :) :)
Dreamy definitely captured in those last two, DD. I like them very much. Like watercolour paintings. I might have to pinch them for wallpapers <grin> You are a bit like me with your photographs, I also like to try out different effects on mine. I use Image Composer with mine though.
Sam.
Thanks yellow petals, I like to play around and see what effects can be achieved. I use photoshop cs( badly I might add)really is a unbelievable program. Very expensive though. They have brought out a newer version of Elements version 3.0. Not sure what it costs but supposed to be better value for money.
Only problem is I can never remember what I did exactly to a image. Must remember to take more notice of what I'm up to. :)
