So lovely to see colour again! ;D
Doris, what lovely photos, you garden looks beautiful. After the winter the colours look so good now don't they. It is just what we need to cheer us up.
Wow Doris, they are superb piccies. What a lovely garden you have...... :D
Just beautiful Doris :)
May i ask? What is the beautiful blue star shaped plant?
It is a Camassia, Honeybee, as you can see by the many photos one of my favorites!
The online dictionary says this "Camassia \Camassia\ n. a genus of scapose herbs of North and South America having large edible bulbs."
Learn something new every day! Never knew they were edible :o Prefer to see the flowers though!
you have staff DP~noticed your sign ;D ;D
lovely pics :)
That's why I had children GreenWiz! ;D No actually, I think the sign refers to ME! (Kitchen up there ;D)
Gorgeous. That blue one in particular. I've never heard of it before.

YP,Wish I did have staff to help me on the plot, but they all decline! :( The garden is mine, all mine, and I love it that way!
The sign is from a railway station, my Uncle/Godfather was an avid collector and when he died I asked the executor for it!
Have fond memories of it being on his shed, near where we used to have bonfires in the warm summer evenings, and packets of crisps n hot chocolate, watching the bats and wildlife! ;D ( I was a lucky kid! ;D)
Thank you for all your nice comments :D I loves me garden, and it is nice to share with others that like gardens too!
Doris Pink, I cannot see anything at all but big red crosses ! :'( :(
Lovely story Doris :) and the pics :) o May thou art the fairest month - whats the poem?
Yes, lovely story about your Uncles sign and your happy memories of times shared together.
Thanks for naming the plant for me....Camassia !!
I will definitely have to remember that one :)
Sorry Marianne, but looks OK for me??
Yep, still looks ok to me too. Lovely 'ol Garden there, DP. Almost oriental in appearance. What is the almost alien looking plant, bottom right? I'm sure it's looking at me!
i have camassia cusickii DP it's a paler shade blue.
Marianne - it maybe your settings are tweaked too high (your security settings that is) I was having the same problem and the only thing I could find to tweak was the security settings. There is like a sliding bar which you can move up and down for higher or lower security settings
Good luck
Doris pinks.. I so enjoy the pics which are put on this board. Your garden looks absolutely fabulous, Oh dear I have turned green again Thank you for sharing. Lorna.
Gorgeous garden DP.
Love the last photo, bottom right. A stunning plant - do you know what it's called?
Ellkebe
It looks like a Euphorbia ellkebe - am I right DP :-\ Beautiful photos - I too love the blue flower, how unusual it is, must look out for it.
Yes it is a Euphorbia! I love it! :D
