I have been given some Liatris Spicata bulbs (flowering time June/Aug?) if I plant them now will they still flower this season?  ::)

Get them in straight away, they should flower late summer.

Yes they should flower this year just get them in ASAP  ;D ;D make sure they are well watered in sunny place if possible helps get them going.  Rosebud.

Thanks, will get digging - have lovely sunny spot for them.

BTW are they hardy ? Can I leave the bulbs in or is it best to lift them ??

They will flower a bit later than the normal time July/ August. Water them well, put in sunny position , planting depth 5 inches to base of corn. And no, they are hardy, no lifting is needed. succes.
