Title: Organic Gardening Catalogue
Post by: dannylewis on May 02, 2005, 20:21:31
Hi there,
I ordered some seeds off the organic gardening website for the first time and i was wondering how long will it take for me to get them?
Has anyone ordered from them before?

Thanks Danny Lewis

It took them about three weeks to send me clover seeds.

They do vary a lot - but a phone call always seems to get a friendly response and helpful answer

My two orders (one I posted, one on the website) took about 1 week to come through.

I have seldom waited longer than a week - including composts etc. Usually quicker. I would say that they are 'user friendly', & certainly worth supporting.

Sometimes you can wait a bit longer if they're out of stock on an item in your order, although they'll often send things seperately if that's the case.

The estimate on the website when I ordered said three weeks so when it took that long, I was not bothered - still have not planted it yet and I have had it since March.

And SO helpful and quick at sorting out c...-.ps.  When a carrier got lost in Leeds and returned my potatoes to them, OrgCat's immediate reaction was to get another lot out quickly  ---- and only afterwards try to track the carrier's mistake.  Nice people - and (with Tim) worth supporting.

All best - Gavin
