Great photos heldi. What's the story with those wonderful gargoyles?

is this you limbering up for the april comp? ;D
Lovely pics, thanks heldi :)
what a nice place looks a great place to visit :) lovely pics thanks
Wonderful! And I love those Gargoyles!!
Obelix I'll have to mug up about the gargoyles as I think I remember the story but knowing me I'll get it back to front and upside down. They are actually Griffin heads so I'll be wrong for calling them gargoyles no doubt. I've always called them that since a little un so what the heck.
Greenwiz,I don't know about limbering up for the April comp. I had so many fuzzy pics that day, you'd think I'd been drinking. Wallington Hall still to this day upholds temperance so not much chance of that. I had some carrot and orange soup in the restuarant in which someone had gone a bit mad with the black pepper!
Do you know I forgot to take a pic of the building itself!
Closer look!
Lovely Pictures Heldi. Another one to add to my places to visit list :)
Thanks for posting the photos Heldi. You take a mean piccie. I will add Wallington Hall to my 'northern tour' list of gardens!!
Good good Twospot and Lord Steve,I'm glad I'm tempting you both !
What a lovely place! I want to visit! Thanks so much for sharing those lovely photos Heldi.
Again more lovely pics. Love the water picture. Ugh, I dislike gargoyles very much. Awful, dreadful things! ;D
