A few flowers, taken today from various neighbours allotments.
A couple more
The view across the allotment ( Dave together) is 2 images joined together. His allotment really is something special.
;D That's clever DD ;) I can't see the join, nice pictures too. ;)
Nice pics, i was looking for the join too ;D
Oh, well - we'll just soldier on with our weed patch!
I think all of us over at the allotment site think the same Tim, but we are all trying to raise our standards and take inspiration from him. All in all I think we have a great site, mainly because of the standards set by this man. To the left hand side of the image, you can see the start of his vinyard. He grows apples, crab apples, cherries, pears, figs, grapes, damsons and on and on. The photo's realy dont do his plot justice. As a project I will try and take 5 or 6 images and join them together to try and show you the full picture.
This is his hopps for his home made beer. Most of the fruit he grows for wine, apples of course for cider.
How very clever ! ;D
looks like a fantastic site dd :)
your pics perfect as usual.i especially love the tulip.
still haven't found any red ;D
lovely pics DD and your lottie site looks very well looked after makes it a nicer place to be
Hi all, I did have some red ones lined up. Next day vandals had ripped them all out.
The allotment site is well cared for and everyone seems to have time for each other.
Went over earlier and planted in 15 Roma tomato plants and 15 gardeners delight. Probably too early, getting to big at home.
This is a image of my plot. Paths a little wonky, pentland javelin potatoes in the foreground, followed by Charlotte and Desiree. Strawberry's(4 rows) then onions and peas. On the second half we have put in our canes for the runner beans, beyond this is spring onions, lettuce and our herbs. On the far end is where we have put our tomatoes, gets sun most of the day and all evening.
Our neighbour from 2 plots up was sunning himself in his deck chair with a cold glass of wine. Very civilised ( cant wait for the grass to grow near the shed so we can sit out and enjoy our plot. I'm thinking of buying an apple tree( dwarf rootstock) 'beauty of bath' anyone remember this variety ?
;) very neat DD ;) well done :)
your plot is looking good dd. shame about the flowers :'( :'(
