;D Well nearly ;D I am going to my Daughters friends tomorrow (Bank Holiday) and we are going to empty and dismantle their shed that will become mine, YIPPEEEEE! ;D ;D ;D
I have transport arranged for next weekend to collect it and deliver to my Lottie, may be up a ready by Sunday if all goes well ;D
;D I'm so excited, I'm real delighted, darum darum darum ::) ;D ;D ;D
See, it's all coming together. Roy!! Dangerous things sheds tho - the more space you have the more stuff you find to fill that space (giant sized compost bales, economy size plant foods and fertilisers, an essential extra spade/fork/hoe/spiky thing etc etc) - what "law" is that?? Guarantee that if you are like us by this time next year your shed will be so full you'll be adding a lean-to for the tools ;)
;D Tee hee thanks Megan, the main things I will be leaving in it will be the BBQ less fuel and wheel barrow less wheel and as you say the big bulky items like compost ;) to ease the load on the car ;D
Anyone got any last minute tips on how to dismantle a shed? apart from start at the roof ;D
Get someone else to do it? ;D
By now you'll have got it home, Roy?Hope it dismantled OK - and that you numbered all the obscure bits? (and then that you've still got the sketch?) ;D ;D ;D
Just know you're going to enjoy being a Person of Property - put the kettle on 8) Lishka
Congrats Roy.......best thing I've purloined for my Lottie is the shed!! A bloke up the lane offered me a 6' x 4' pent roofed one. Me and a few mates picked it up and carried it! Try not to fill yours with junk like I have ;D
;D At the mo, we have dismantled it and laid it on the floor in situe awaiting collection on Saturday, only accident was a broken pane of glass. ::)
I'm really excited as I am soon to have a private place to donate a food additive to my compost bins :o

Trouble is that when folks know you have a new shed they come to visit. You can bet your life that as soon as your kecks are down someone will be ogling your bare a r s e through the window :o :o :o
:o No no no stools allowed :o standing only and there will be nett curtains to hide my vanity ;D
Congrats Roy!!! you have beaten me, got your shed first.
I will have to get my finger out and get this greenhouse I have been offered dismantled / carried and erected. ???
well done it will make a big difference I bet, I now when I get mine it will be.
dont forget the notice "Knock and wait" ;D

Oh, that would account for my typing errors then, YP! :-[
Bet Saturday can't come soon enough Roy - but what about Harvey? Are you planning a wee extension for your four-legged friend - complete with net curtains?
Our shed doesn't even have a window........

;D No need Megan, I take him regular walks and he crosses his legs till he gets home >:( although to be fare he has done one's or two's on occasions ;D bless his little cotten socks ;D
Funny how things go isnt it!!!!
I can do a YIPPPPEEEE as well I have got a shed the other day, and its dimantled and on the allotment. Just got to get it on my plot and then the erection starts.
Good luck with yours this weekend
Ron
;D Well done to you Ron ;D bet you are over the moon ;) I'll get a piccy of my shed when it's up and running 8)
Roy Mine is up and we are finishing the painting. It still has some gaps where the planks have buckled a bit so it leaks but my OH will probably use 50 cans of expanding foam to plug them (he used two on my wheel barrow wheel and it didn't work ;D)
I now have guttering on with a downpipe into a freebie water butt. My niece bought us a new tap for it so this weekend I should be able to draw water :)
It even has a worktop in it for me to do my potting up, oh and a hurricane lamp :)
OMG if you could see ours compered to that! :o ::)
Nice little pad youve got yourself there wardy :)
ah!the wardy wagon looks a treat-!
right-why i replied-please please please do not tell me roy bares his bum on the allotment.the very thought send s shivers..its bad enough that his only plans for his shed seem to be a...little er .....basic :o
...slugcatcher-use the term 'erection 'one more time regarding sheds and you'll have wardy doing overtime on the gags.....who knows where it will all end! ::)
now- can we have a little decorum PER-LEASE!!!!!!
;) Looking great Wardy ;D thanks for showing us the inside as youv'e given me ideas with shelving and work-top ;)
Kitty  Far be it from me to make a cheap remark about erections. Thought I'd leave it to you. ;D
Ps  We now have another shelf below that one ;D
PPS Roy where's the pics? Don't be shy :)
;)
My OH continues his shed refurb with a not one new shelf but two :o and he has even bought some polycarb to replace the broken window :o :o He also fitted a tap to the second hand water butt ;D
Bad news at the shed this morning though as the Wicks timber has warped and split the roof felt so we had a puddle on the shed floor this morning. :(
Made lettuce sarnis with all my mixed lettuce leaves ;D Lettuce sarnis are popular in these parts as they are cheap. A light sprinkling of salt and enjoy :)
:( Sorry to hear about your Roof felt Wardy >:(Â ;DGood news about your tap ;D
Many hands made light work of my new (secondhand) shed.
We erected it (Daughter, Son-in-law & Mate) today, painted it and put new roofing felt up, sadly I forgot my camera but got a snap albeit rubbish off my mobile phone sorry about the quality and it shows off the oil drums I recycled. ;D 8)

very pleased for you roy-theres nothing an allotmenteer needs more than a shed.....unless its 2 sheds!
have fun!
kitty :)
;D Well I've got two Lotties now :o so I spose two sheds are better than one ;D ;D 8)
I'm very impressed with your sheds Roy and Wardy - can't wait till we have one.
Checking my lottery ticket at work the other night I was pleased to find I'd won a tenner but then when I realised I was only one number of winning over £100 I sighed and moaned - that was nearly a shed... got some funny looks from the others at work - some people just don't understand :)
Fab shed Roy - somewhere to keep your knick knacks ;D
My OH mended roof felt but it's leaking in somewhere else now ;D A veritable colander. Gawd it could mean he's going to break out the expanding foam again. Oh no, anything but that. If I find it I chuck it in the bin and then act all innocent and say I've not see in ;D
i feel the same way when my oh says-i'll just get the toolbox..
o no,i think-whats he going to break this time?
and how much wll it cost to 'get a man in'...
bless him-he means well ;D
;D I’ve snapped a better picture of my new/secondhand shed on a lovely warm and sunny day, 8) apart from the birdie songs you could hear a pin drop up there. :)
The second picture shows my new plot to the right covered in weeds and pond liner with two oil drums and a dustbin, I think we’re going to have a busy summer. ;D
