There was nothing in either of our papers about it.
Then, at 0130 this am, it drifted in from the south.
Lightning every 2-3 secs for 15 min - then every 2-5 sec for half an hour - & after an hour, it was still flashing away, 2-10 secs as it, probably, lit up Stow & Moreton.
Of course, had you come down at that time to check Metcheck, you would have seen a Flash Warning. Just a bit late?? I only came down to rush some celery seedlings into cover!
Your celery seeds are very luck to have you ;D I don't think I would be that devoted to my charges ;D
:o Yes it reached us here in Brum at around 2am not directly but I reckon it was about 7 to 10 miles away, He/She was moving loads of furniture up there judging by the racket and the lightening was a sight to behold, just hope the heavy rain hasn't flattened my peas >:(
We had the thunder, but didn't see the lightening, but number one daughter has been having night terrors again so the bathroom light was on. :-\
