Title: Dead heading

According to Monty we should be dead-heading daffs now. What about tulips? Anything else?

Any bulb where the flower has finished and you do not want seeds may be dead headed. If you like you may come and do it to my 10,000 Snowdrops!

10 out of 10 for trying Eric!  Luckily don't have nearly so many to deadhead.  So glad that people are beginning not to tie them all up or cut them down.  Untidy, yes but so much more rewarding next year!

I always cut them down and they always come back without fail.   :D

I dead head all my bulbs as I go, bar one, just in case I feel all inspired to grow some seeds.  Currently have a big pot full of freesia seedlings, 2 of lily seedlings, 1 of regular eucomis and 1 of dwarf eucomis (thanks Doris  ;D) .  I like growing bulbs from seed - very rewarding.  ;D
