Enjoy!
Eric I do wonder how you manage to maintain that garden by yourself. How long does it take you to mow the grass for instance? I particularly like your woodland area and am reminded of the photographs you posted in spring of your snowdrops etc. I certainly hope you get time to sit on that swing chair anyway.
Thank you so much for sharing your photographs. By the way, what on earth is that white thing in your greenhouse (if you don't mind me asking!)?
Palustris that what we call a park round 'ere! :o
Well done for looking after it all so well. Its lovely and can I have the first 2 weeks in July? ;D
what a garden makes mine look like window box , you must spend hours in it working as i can see from the pictures thankyou for sharing them with us they are wonderfull and i really enjoyed looking at them,by the way how big is the garden
Eric your picks were fantastic and like i said to you earlier, i now want to see an aerial view ;D
The garden is just under an acre.
I don't look after it all alone, my wife does most of the work! It takes her about a day to mow the grass.
The white thing in Anne's greenhouse is her plastic greenhouse covered in fleece to keep the temperature up.
There is an overhead view somewhere, but it was taken a while back and we have altered things since then.
:'( :'( can't view your pics P.
keeps saying password is wrong.
can you post in the gallery?
Have reposted the link, and it seems to work for me, for now!
Works for me too, cheers. Wow what a garden!!
thanks for the invite.
wow x 100!
i struggle to maintain my postage stamp garden.
mrs p can cut my grass anytime she wants :)
Wow wee, what a lovely garden!
Eric, what a fantastic garden! We always say that the only thing we would move for is a bigger garden for the children, but I can only imagine the effort that you both must put in to keep such a large garden looking so well defined. I love all the different areas and the seating spots, it must be great to view the fruits of your labour! (if you have time ;D)
Lawns, beds, pond, greenhouse, polytunnels, alpine areas and woodland (and I bet I've missed something out!).......beautiful!!
You and your wife must work tremendously hard to get it looking so superb, but what a joy it must be to you. You deserve every medal going, it's lovely. :) busy_lizzie
As I've said before, Eric - saves one the holiday outing to the local 'open house'.
Much admiration! Just wish we had open air like that.
How about pictures of inside the greenhouses?
lovely pics, you're so lucky to have such a wonderful garden, obviously created through a lot of hard work :)
Apart from all the other members comments.. what can one say..As a newbie may I ask what part of the country you are. It is a sheer delight looking at all the wonderful pics. Thank you. Lorna
