Title: Cholmondeley Castle Gardens
Post by: Plocket on April 25, 2005, 17:40:22
We visited Cholmondeley Castle Gardens yesterday and what a lovely place it turned out to be. Popular, but gorgeous! The garden shop in the Kitchen Garden provided a spot of Horticultural Retail Therapy too.

Isn't it great that the time for getting out and about again has come around.  Lovely photos Plocket.  I love castles also - what was in the centre of the monument type structure near the bridge :-\

Hi Gardengirl! I looks like a greek-god type person throwing a discus - I haven't got a closer photo unfortunately.

I must point out that you can't actually go into the castle but it is certainly dominating!
