Thanks everyone. I'm really chuffed  ;D.

The fox lives at a wildlife sanctuary in Ulgham (uffam),Morpeth, Northumberland. There are two that share a pen. Their names are Donut and Sam. I think this is Sam in the photo. If so,he was involved in an accident with a car and cannot be released back into the wild because of his injuries.  I'm glad you voted for him.

I took the pic from a viewing point in a hide. I zoomed in and hoped the camera wouldn't focus on the wire fence. I was over the moon with the result.

Well done to everyone who took part. I enjoyed the pics very much and I hope more folks give it a whirl next time. It's good fun.  I missed a great pic the other day...a ladybird with an aphid in its jaws!  Haven't taken many this month so I'll get my skates on and look for something different.

Glyn,we nearly had a draw didn't we!

Marianne. You post your pic when Dan opens a new thread in the competitions part of the gallery.  It's further up the page. I think you get about a week to get your pics in. I don't know how many you are allowed to post but most people do 2 I think.

;D

Heldi,  I thought your pic of the fox was very good and congratulations on winning in the competition.  I am a keen photogrpher and have recently received a digi camera.  I have been happy snappy this past few weeks but alas.  I cannot show them off to anyone in A4A  cos I jsut do not understand at all, at all, how on earth you get your pics onto here.  Its beyond me I think.  So, good luck inthe April competition.

By the way, we passed that place yesterday Ulgham nr Morpeth, we had been at Heighley Gate Garden Centre.  Is it worth a visit?

Hi Carol.

You can open a free account with Photobucket where you can then download and store your photos.

Go to www.photobucket.com.
When you have opened your account, all you do is download your photos from the C (Hard) drive onto your Photobucket account.  When you have done that, you then copy the IMG extension and paste it into A4A.

If you did not live so far, I would come and show you ! :-\  Good luck with it ! :D ;)

Marianne
I have often read how to put photo's onto  A4A but never fully understood it. Yours is the clearest explanation I have read so far-Thanks
Everybody else seems to assume we are all blessed with intelligence and they just say"download your photo's-" but they have never said from where ???
Thanks again
Rosemary
