Are your photos taken this year or last?  I ask as none of my bleeding hearts are showing yet and my weigelia is only just waking up.

Rosebud - Yet another beautiful scene ! - What is the green plant in front of the bleeding heart ???  I have some of that but do not know the name  ??? :)

The photos were taken on Monday this week Wardy.
Marriane it is called a Hellebore and i just love it, thank you for your kind comments my friends. ;D

Sorry Marriane i was looking at the wrong one. It is called Rhue!
I got a cutting given to me from a very posh Manor House by the lady of the house no less, i pull that plant to pieces at least 3 times a year and it still comes back for more and looks lovely, not sure i like the smell though ::).

Yes indeed Rhue!  I had it before and it has a powerful smell !  ::) :o ;D but is so very lovely.

what a fine specimen of bleeding heart mine is in flower but alot smaller then yours lovely picture

The climate must be very good where you are Rosebud, my dicentra are not nearly as advanced as yours.  Lovely :D
