Don't panic - Corporal Jones will have 'em off in a second?

I used to work for Vodafone and whilst I was there they introduced these trees but had a few teething problems.
The first attempts were with trees with upward facing branches (arms in the air style) - so when it rained the water ran down the branches and flooded the inside of the trunk - so they have now decided to use conifers to allow the rain to run off the branches at the leafy end! :)
(This may be an urban myth but it did the rounds and gave us all a good sblack person at the time).
Update:Â The spellchecker is really offensive - why has it changed snigg*r into "sblack person" - surely that is drawing attention to what would otherwise be wholey insignificant.

You're not supposed to say sn*gger; it's snicker in American. (Don't get me started...)
We have one of these masts near where we have summer archery practice.
Its 'planted' between quite a few pines and wouldn't look that bad but it is 20ft above all the others and stands out like a sore thumb. But having said that it is in the middle of no where and the locals that know its there laugh a little when they pass it!!!
Aaaaaagh! And when I think of the time I spent checking it wasn't all an April Fool!
Bring back the phone boxes - please! Gavin
