Title: Tomatoes- looking rather purple!
Post by: andyh on April 19, 2005, 21:23:06
Help! I have a selection of different tomato varities growing in a cold greenhouse. The plants seemed to be doing well, 3-4 inches tall, and then the leaves have started to turn purple. Is this something I should isolate, burn or wait for recovery?

sounds like a bit of a `cold check` to me. Not terminal but keep an eye out.

It's just stress, probably from the cool nights or too much water. If they're in small pots you might try potting them on, mine improved immediately.
