I put the new birdie feeding station up yesterday and saw mr greenfinch was there for a brief second before a bigger birdie came flying across frightening it. Have gone for the shepherds hook birdie things again, and have relocated the other one in the plot (whose silly idea was it to put it next to the asparagus so all the seeds could fall into the asparagus bed and germinate!!!) away from the footpath separating my plot 3 from plot 4.
