Title: pale courgette seedlings
Post by: aquilegia on April 18, 2005, 13:42:07
My courgette seedlings are looking rather pale.

(I say seedlings, they are about 6in high and producing their first leaves!)

They get a lot of sunlight, being right next to the south facing window.

SHould I be feeding them?

(yes - I know I've started them too early - It's my first year growing them from seed, so I'm still learning!)

Aqui - are they in seed or potting compost?

And have you 'potted them on'? At 6" they should at least be in 3"-4" pots.

In potting compost (I'm too cheap for seed compost!) and they are currently in 4in square, deep pots.

I planted 6 seeds into pots and placed in heated green house but some pesky little critter must have had a snack and eaten 3 of them  >:(

More to sow...
