HELP ???
Get a rose bush that's named after her, take champagne, glasses and wife down to lottie for ceremonial planting ;D (that's of course if you don't use the lottie as a bolt hole!) Then she may want to send more time down there to check on progress and you can get her helping out at the same time ;D
I didn't know there was a rose called Mrs Waggi ;D Rose is a lovely idea.
I think traditionally PAPER was given at the first anniversary so you could give her a writing paper gift set or a book, anything paper related - not wallpaper or toilet paper though as that's not romantic ;D Theatre tickets etc are paper, two tickets to Barbados ...... ;D
Whatever you choose have a lovely anniversary. It's my 25th this year. We're having a week at Loggerheads ;D
that very nice stainlless steel womans size spade and fork to help you on the lottie ;D, followed by champers and a nice packed breakfast hamper to eat on the lottie....with lovely chesse etc, and of course first class tickets on the eurostar to paris for the weekend of shopping :o
Is there a rose called Happy Anniversary? Homebase have Silver and Ruby Anniversary roses but you won't need one of those yet!
I think just enjoy the day being together whatever you do.
First payment towards the legal fees for the divorce? ;D
Thanks for all your ideas ;D
as luck wood have it it was pissing down and well we went out for the day and well we enjoyed it
no need for a first payment on our divorce ::)
thanks all you lot are gr8
Matt and waggi 1 year wed
My Governor and I 'celebrated' forty years last year...I got all the usual comments about two life sentances etc.
Now if I did some of the things suggested in previous posts I would get the retort.." What are you after?" or more to the point "what have you done?"
An elderly lady some years ago was asked if she had ever considered divorce..her reply..
"Divorce never, murder many times"!
Now that's marriage! ;D
Derek
We've been married for many happy years ... 1984, 1989, 1991 ... ;D
