Lovely Pieriis.  It looks like japonica - grows to about 6'   I have one in the same pot it's been in for years.  Never gets watered or  anything and it gets better and better.  :)

thanks everyone, think that name rings a bell now. I've had the plant about 12 years now, still only about 3ft tall. Covered in flowers at the moment though.
Hope you like my bluebells, growing in the backgarden next to my japonica peiris.

My garden is full of those Spanish blue bells which seem to have bred and I now have pink shades too.  They are taking over and I thinned them out last year but didn't seem to make any difference as they all seem to be back

Thanks for the encouragement. Been off the computers for a while, upgrading to XP and networking my grandsons computer to mine for his homework.
GW, the shade of green is Wickes forest green wood preservative. About 12-15 litres I think for £7-50. I'm in the process of trying to retrieve most of my images from a back up drive at the moment, so no photo's for a while.
Had our first few set backs over the allotment, bleeding pigeons have taken the tops out of our peas, looks like there a some shoots coming out from below ( fingers crossed) and a slight frost has had a go at our early potatoes. Some of the leaves( not all luckily) have shrivelled up. Should I try and remove the dead leaves or leave alone ?
Hope to be back sometime over the weekend, take care
Bye for now.
Dirk

Managed to find a image for now, taken last year on a day out at Powys Castle. Trying to dodge the crowds.
