I've never done the spring one, but year before last dragged family to the august show - it was wonderful - loads to look at, loads to buy and a fair amount of none gardening displays - dance, pipe bands etc to keep the none-gardening family amused.

It was too cold on Saturday to contemplate taking my boy out for that amount of time - its sited at the top of a bank so would have been desperate on Saturday.

I have been before but like Ceri it was the summer one.
They have gardening talks by well known gardeners (Roy Lancaster was there the year I went)

It's a good day out ...if the weather is good
