Hi
I haven't posted much lately and I don't have a lottie but a very windy garden near Buckie on the Moray coast. I'm from Aberdeen originally.
Cheers
Iain
Hi there
Total Newbie here with first post - don't have a lottie as such but lottie sized portion of an old walled garden near Gordon , Berwickshire.
My first growing season in this area, so very much feeling my way with regard to planting times (being a Cousin Jack by birth and upbringing).
Also new to this forum idea - probably obvious !
So we originate from opposite ends of the U.K. then, Pedro (Caithness and Cornwall) - is that right? Â Welcome to the site - sure you'll enjoy it and will get loads of helpful advice from everyone. Also sure you must enjoy living in Scotland!!
By the way, what is the origin of the Cousin Jack for Cornish men - know it's off topic but I'm curious - surely they're not all so interrelated that everyone is a cousin?? :o
;D Welcome Pedro ;D
Hello Pedro. I am not a stones throw from you in Greenlaw, so know Gordon quite well. Now I wonder where you are???
Welcome to the Board, this is a very friendly site, sure you will enjoy it.
;D ;D ;D ;D
Thanks for the welcome and interest - more specific location is a cottage at Bassendean so very close to Greenlaw.  Yep, I'm Cornish and Dawn my wife is originally from Aberdeen (daughter now living in Musselburgh) hence one of the reasons for relocation to this superb area.
So far I've been lucky with the veg planting and things are springing out of the ground, but no doubt will need advice at some stage !!
Thanks again
Footnote : As far as I know the Cornish miners that emigrated were known as Cousin Jacks because in their new country and employment they were always asking for a job for their cousin Jack back in Cornwall ! Jack being a favoured name at that time.
:D :D
I know the Farmers wife to talk to at Bassendean, but cannot remember her name. Hope you enjoy living in these parts, bet you get a lot of wind up there, cos I get a lot. Straight from the Eildons to our house. I bet you get your papers in our village shop? or do you go to Gordon.
Anyways, welcome to the board. Hope you enter the Greenlaw Flower Show in September. its usually a good event.
;D ;D ;D
hello, I'm in the east end of Glasgow. took over a jungle in November. don't really know what I'm doing half the time but other guys have been good with advice and didn't laugh too loud when they discovered id drowned my totties cos i watered them!! ;)

Well well well seems I am quite close to a few of you I live just outside a town

I'm in a small site in Fife......... good to hear from others not too far away
Gail
I'm in Dundee, took on my first plot in April and have since taken on a second one as it was empty. I needed somewhere for all the extra stuff I have grown. :)
