What was the problem?
Database corruption was the cause, had to stitch together a couple of backups, then ran out of disk space.
Then forgot to set a couple of things!
Good that A4A is back. Thanks Dan and team.
Hurrah - thank you for your efforts, Dan!
It's been so long I've forgotten what I was going to ask.... Oops!
Thanks ever so much Dan, it's lovely to see it back :) Hope you and your family are all ok x
Dan, thanks! Forget the request for new membership in the name of Patricia! I thought the problem lay with my tablet. So glad it's all sorted. Hi everyone, I've missed you! ☺
Tricia
Good to be back, it was funny without A4A :icon_cheers:
Glad A4A is up and running again :blob7: :icon_cheers:
Thank you!
Yes, it was like missing an old friend. Thanks, Dan, for your efforts.
Thank you Dan, for all your efforts. Like others, to begin with I thought it was a problem with our computer. It was frustrating finding I had no means of getting on to A4A. Thought I'd be shut out for ever, until I found one email address of a member, from submitting photos for the competition (time for another one?). I guess Dan began to receive lots of emails reporting the problem!
Keep safe and healthy everyone.
Thanks Dan we very much appreciate your effort in running this site for us
Keep safe
Not been in for a while so I was unaware of the problem. But thanks so much for fixing it, we do appreciate this space.
Good to have you back... Annie and of course A4A
Great to be back.
Must be a backlog of harvest photos and gripes to be trodden. I still miss reports from the 'Sunshine coast'
Yes, if anyone knows Johnny (or he's reading this), come back!
Dan, a suggestion for you, but I think an important one. Part of A4A not working was a message telling us to come back another time, and if the problem persists, contact an administrator. Which sounds ok, until you realise that we do not have a way of doing that. Please can you modify that message to say whom and how we should contact an administrator. Is it just you or are there other administrators? I think we need a way of contacting you or any other admins. A4A was really missed while down.
yes, Galina, that wa exactly the problem, and of course none of us knew whether it was just at our end, of A4A

The admins were in the same situation I'm afraid.
