Hi guys!

I think it does look like it is floating,my imagination makes me think of an angel with soft floaty gown billowing.

Crackintackle I was most surprised when it flowered. The one upstairs has done the same. I have another which is orange which is the one I expected to flower at this time of year. I'm using the parent plants in my mum's house as reference, her orange one always flowers now and the pink at Christmas.
I've got some buds on the orange one and am hoping to see its flowers really soon!

They are such pretty flowers, and like the old spider plant practically impossible to muder (which is good for me).

I have a red, and it performs for me twice a year without fail. My pinks only flower once, but they alternate - quite clever really.

Heldi - if you can hear me, where did mama get the orange, and do you kow if they come in any other colours ?

Crackintackle I'll have to ask her where it came from but I feel like the plant has been around for years and years so mum might not remember. Last time I saw it,it looked like it needed some tlc. It lives on a high windowsill and is left to the mercy of the homehelps! (My mum is disabled and can't reach it. She wouldn't be able to water it even if she could reach it unfortunately. She has severe MS).

I'll let you know when I find out more and if I bring it back to health I could maybe send some cuttings. Don't know how to do that but we'll see eh!
