Hi all
It's been awhile since my last post ...June 2016 to be precise! but after a couple illnesses which led to me drifting in and out of depression which in turn led me to 3 years of being in the gardening wilderness(I've weeds on my allotment to prove it) and me losing interest, I would like to come back that's if you'II have me
Hi. Hope you're felling a lot perkier now then and able to tackle some weeds and grow stuff. Welcome back.
Welcome back :icon_cheers:
Always nice to have members return and join in again even if it is only an occasional visit or update.
Hope you get back to enjoying gardening again even if the weeds are a challenge
Welcome back Froglegs!
Although much has happened, much remains the same.
It doesn't seem to be as busy as it used to be, so all posts are very welcome!
Welcome back, hope that life and gardening has turned the corner for you.
Thanks...it's not been all doom and gloom, I have been gardening but not with the enthusiasm I had in the past,I'll not bore you with the details but as I was turning 60 this year I had one of them let's see what's still working examinations .....which highlighted I've got a Underactive thyroid which unbeknown to me was flagged up 3years ago...but was not acted upon !?! But now I'm on the meds I'm starting to get back to my old happy'ish self....there I said I wouldn't bore you 🙄.
Welcome back Froglegs!
I haven't been on here a great deal lately as my husband has been ill and has been having treatment for cancer. He is doing well now and I am pleased to hear that things are going better for you too. With your thyroid sorted out it will be a new lease of life for you and and I am sure you will soon have your allotment back together again.
My wife has no thyroid at all. After being over active they nuked it (literally!) so she is reliant on the meds and has been for years. It doesn't affect her at all now she has the right dose and she has a plot of her own.
Glad to see you back and gardening!
Sorry to hear about your husband Pauline - hope his recovery continues.
Snap, OH as nuked over twenty years ago, the tablets make it all OK. Sorry to hear that Pauline.
Hope for good results Pauline, glad that he is doing better now.
Sorry to hear that Pauline,Mrs Frog beat the big C five years a go as I'm sure your husband will.
