Grown as an experiment in the conservatory, from seed last August. Fabulous fragrance too !

Beautiful! You clever girl you! ;D
I love sweetpeas - only the fragrant ones though! They remind me of my childhood on the lotty with my dad who grew loads of them. Mine are in a right old tangle still in pots. I think I might plant some up my leaf mould bin for them to climb up the chicken wire. If it's a success I will take a picture
Lovely picture by the way :)
My favourites too Wardy. Just thought I'd have a go at raising some indoors, to cheer me up, as it's one hell of a long winter up here! Sleet today, and more snow for Thurs/Frid !  :(  Who said Spring had arrived ???Â
Successful experiment then!
Wonderful pic.
Sweet peas are my favorite, and that one is lovely. I must remember to grow some indoors for next year (that's if my conservatory is not bursting at the joints!). But what really puzzles me is why some sweet peas are bred without scent, to me, without a heady fragrance, it's not a sweet pea!
lovely picture love sweet peas mine are nearly ready to be put in the garden glad i have hung on with the weather we are meant to be getting
