Title: Scorze - whatsitsname
Post by: Mrs Ava on April 04, 2005, 13:43:04
Dug the last of this and the salsify today as I needed the space clear now for my sprouts.  Might do again, I do have more seeds, depends on space really.

Plan to peel gently, cook gently and have with my lamb chop tonight.  (along with the other veggies that came home today..........)

mmmm, steamed then griddled with the onion.  Delish!

The plants were about....that big...by about that wide!  Oh I don't know, not huge, quite low growing, made a rosette of leaves, I guess, um, 40cm or so across........ :-\
