Thank you.   Lovely surprise yesterday.  OH told me he'd be late home as he had to go to La Roche to fetch a package.   That turned out to my daughter who'd spent all day on trains from college in Namur to get here to celebrate.

We've had a quiet, family day with lunch out and a boozy dinner in to come.   2cms of rain today too and more on the way so I'll be all set for gardening and planting next week after she goes home again.

Thanks all.  Our local coast is known as the Côte de Lumière - coast of light, as opposed to the Côte d'Azur in Provence or the Côte Opal up north.  They must mean the mikly opals.....
