I hands and kneed through this over the last 4 days, weeding it. Pity about the daffs they are supposed to be white. but if you look closely you can see they are pale yellow with an orange cup!
Very pretty! :)
goodness!! :o
that must have taken some planting!
the daffs look good though, despite not being white ::) ....what variety are the tulips?
Just looking again at your picture, there are so many bulbs, do you buy them in bulk and do you get a good price. I want to plant lots this autumn so that I can have cut flowers for the house next spring.
Lovely pic Palustris. Like yer daffs :) I was in the New Forest over Easter whilst visiting my son there for the first time. He took us to Deer Leap which I enjoyed very much. The weather was brilliant. When I got home the place was really wet and dismal just like November. :(
Very nice. I wish I could do such a big display.Hope you take a pic when the tulips come out.
all your toil & sweat was worth it. post again when the tulips show face :D
This is probably about the best picture I am going to get of the New Forest. The Queen of the Night are a little later than we had hoped and Attila( the dark pink )is earlier. And as I said the daffs are the wrong ones, not only colour wise but flowering time too.

very, very nice done Palustrus. Looks like the Keukenhof.
Absolutely brilliant Eric :) What patience you have - the New Forest looks great.
Pat
You must feel very good that all of your hard work has reaped such a splendid reward!
It looks fabulous.
Eric it looks just like a beautiful painting, its so lovely.
I wondered? When all the spring bulbs die back what do you with the area then for the summer?
Ah, well, good question. Hopefully the shrubs which are hidden will grow a bit and there are also hundreds of Galtonia candida and viridis and Agapanthus esculenta. Any gaps may well be filled with ??????
AND I need some space for the Tree Peonies we are hoping to have enough money to plant his year.
Ahhhhhhh, i thought that you might have a plan in mind :)
Sounds like its going to be nice Eric, cant wait for the summer photo :)
It looks like a real dutch forest to me.Got a lot of gardens who looks like that overhere, but never the less it looks marvelous
